Impeached Donald Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani is globetrotting to secure grifts for Trump from foreign officials and governments. These grifts--in the form of investigations intended to discredit Democratic presidential rival Joe Biden--could illegally influence the 2020 presidential election in favor of Trump.

That's right, Trump is grifting his way through his own impeachment for...grifting.

Giuliani tried months ago to score a lucrative oil deal in Ukraine, part of his suspicious connection with the indicted Ukrainian duo Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman who are under house arrest for money laundering.

Trump back in 2006 sent his elder son and daughter to Ukraine to meet with government officials in a failed attempt to profit from Ukrainian corruption, reports Politico. The Trump Organization evidently failed to develop or brand the candidate Kiev and Yalta properties. (Yalta is a port city in Crimea, on the eastern edge of Ukraine, which was annexed by Russia in 2014).

Now, in his implausible impeachment defense, Trump claims to have been concerned with Ukrainian corruption when he withheld Congressionally-approved defense funding of Ukraine's hot war with would-be invader Russia, now trying to annex Ukraine.

Giuliani awaits his own personal indictment out of the federal District Court for the Southern District of New York (SDNY).

Trump could cut his lifeline with Giuliani until his Mitch McConnell-guaranteed Senate impeachment acquittal happens, but instead Trump chooses further to stir the pot by defending Giuliani and Trump's own rogue 'foreign policy', which is blatantly self-interested and -directed rather than being in the US public or national security interest.
