Twenty-two weeks ago tomorrow, I called Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) and left a voicemail on its abandoned-cars hotline. I reported details of a disabled, stripped red sedan blocking a once-scenic and safe Columbia Slough pathway's footbridge in Northeast Portland. [See my PBOTched! post from June 5, 2024.]
Last week, this was the scene whereby a stripped white van piled onto the dumpsite:

Finally and after months of waiting for PBOT to do its job, here was today's restored pastoral scene:

Now only a pile of blue tarp (someone's abandoned 'shelter', no doubt) disturbs the peace.
