Nineteen blue states got a rare gift yesterday from the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) on the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) that affects every American.

SCOTUS today ordered an accelerated briefing by both sides of this controversy by this Friday. A month--not less than a week--is normal for briefing.

SCOTUS appeals must be lodged by January to be decided in the current SCOTUS term ending in June.
